Felice Silverman, IIDA

Felice Silverman is the President and a Principal at Silverman Trykowski Associates, Inc. She has been practicing interior design for the past twenty-five years, with a focus on the design of spaces for education, children, health care, fitness and commercial office interiors.

 

Felice received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Harvard University and a Professional Certificate in Interior Design from the Boston Architectural Center.

 

Felice is NCIDQ certified, and is the President-Elect of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). She has served on IIDA’s Board since 2009, and was the 2006-2007 President of IIDA’s New England Chapter. In 2009, Felice was honored to receive IIDA New England’s Leader’s Breakfast Honoree Award. Felice has served on the Board of Trustees of the Boston Architectural College, and has been the Chair of the BAC’s Interior Design Advisory Board and Student Development Committee. She has been an instructor, advisor and guest critic at the Boston Architectural College, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Mt. Ida College and The New England School of Art and Design.

Thomas Trykowski, AIA, NCARB

Thomas Trykowski is a Principal and the Treasurer at Silverman Trykowski Associates, Inc. He has been practicing architecture for the past twenty-five years for both local and national clients. Mr. Trykowski has experience in all phases of the design and construction process in a variety of industries including commercial building projects and interiors, multi-family housing projects, healthcare, and specialty retail and restaurant projects.

 

Thomas received his Associate of Architectural Engineering from Roger Williams University and his Bachelor of Architecture at the Boston Architectural College.

 

He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) and is NCARB Certified. Thomas has taught at the Boston Architectural College and the Wentworth Institute of Technology. He is licensed to practice architecture in twelve states (MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, VA, IL, MN, TX, FL) and the District of Columbia.

David Silverman, AIA

David Silverman is a registered architect and Principal at Silverman Trykowski Associates. Prior to joining STA, David directed map-lab, a creative studio committed to ideas that think beyond the discipline of architecture. He has over 25 years of experience working with higher education clients to create thoughtfully designed learning and research spaces.

 

David received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Boston Architectural College.

 

David is active in the design community as an educator. He has remained involved at the BAC serving as faculty, as a college trustee and on the Alumni Board. David founded the Urban Neighborhood Design Alliance, a non-profit organization providing educational initiatives for youth. He serves as a board member of Design Museum Boston and Learning By Design and is also on the Advisory Board for the Chicago based Integrated School of Building. He has served as a design critic at Roger Williams University, the New England School of Art and Design, and Wentworth Institute of Technology. In 2012, David received the Award for Excellence in Teaching given by the BSA + AIA College of Fellows.

Jon Hanson

Jon Hanson is a project manager at Silverman Trykowski Associates, Inc. He has experience designing and managing various commercial, institutional and healthcare projects.

 

Jon received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Boston Architectural College. In recognition of his leadership and service, he was awarded the 2009 Alpha Rho Chi Bronze metal during commencement services. Jon is currently in the process of taking the Architectural Registration Exam.

 

While a student, Jon served as the Press Coordinator and member of the construction team for the 2009 BAC/Tufts U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon entry. Jon continues to serve the BAC community as a Design Studio Instructor and has served on the College’s Alumni Board. Jon is a team leader of STA’s communications team.

Daniel Connolly

Daniel Connolly is a Project Manager at Silverman Trykowski Associates, Inc. Prior to joining Silverman Trykowski Associates he was a Designer at map-lab.

 

Daniel has a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Northeastern University and is currently in the process of taking the Architectural Registration Exam.

 

Daniel is a member of the Boston Society of Architect’s Housing Committee and the Urban Land Institute’s Young Leaders Group. He has been a member of the prestigious “Onein3” Mayor’s Advisory Council. Daniel was featured in Architecture Boston magazine on a panel of young designers discussing their professional horizons and architecture’s future. Daniel articulates his passion for design and urban planning on his blog: PanamArq. Daniel is a team leader of STA’s technology team.

Jimena Bedoya

Jimena Bedoya is a Designer at Silverman Trykowski Associates, Inc. She is an asset to all phases of project design including site verification, space planning, construction documentation, rendering, and finish selection.

 

Jimena earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Trinity College in 2008 with a degree in Art History and Architectural Studies. Jimena is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture degree at the Boston Architectural College and is pursuing licensure.

 

Prior to Silverman Trykowski Associates, Jimena provided design services for various non-profit organizations. She also interned at map-lab Inc. where she helped develop a computer-based prototype that synthesizes data to better predict urban planning outcomes. Jimena is a team leader of STA’s communications team.

Sarah Broadhead

Sarah Broadhead is a Designer for Silverman Trykowski Associates, Inc. She is a NCIDQ certified interior designer and LEED accredited professional. Sarah has worked on a variety of projects including commercial, healthcare, multi-family residential, retail, and interior projects.

 

Sarah graduated with honors from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design. Sarah is currently a candidate for a Master of Architecture at the Boston Architectural College and is actively pursuing architectural registration.

 

Prior to joining Silverman Trykowski Associates, Inc. Sarah worked as a designer for First Columbia, LLC, a diversified real estate and building organization located in Latham, N.Y. Sarah is a team leader of STA’s knowledge team.

Josh W. Castellano

Josh Castellano is a Designer for Silverman Trykowski Associates, Inc. As an STA team member, he brings his enthusiasm and experience to every project he works on. Josh has a particular interest in software development and his passion for thoughtful design has led him to seek a degree in architecture.

 

Josh is currently a candidate for a Bachelors of Architecture at the Boston Architectural College.

 

While attending the BAC, Josh has participated on the BAC’s Student Government Council. He has served as a volunteer on the council’s communications committee, has been a Student Representative and Treasurer and has held a seat on the BAC’s Finance Committee. Josh is a team leader of STA’s technology team.
