Education & Culture
Ingrained in the STA design process of educational, cultural, and worship spaces is the inclusion of community and stakeholders in creating a space or building that will be valuable to all. Our inclusionary methods help to create design goals that ensure that the community has a stake in the success of the project. We actively seek input from all constituents including users, space administrators, and facilities managers.
STA prides itself in our collective abilities in assisting institutions of higher learning in evaluating current stock on campus and supporting institutions in making renovation and upgrading decisions with a focus on the mission of the university. STA has been involved with studies, management, and final design of nearly 50 classrooms and auditoria, 30 laboratories of varying degrees of complexity, and a variety of spaces for students including study halls, student lounges, performance spaces, and libraries.
